GCT has won the 'Best College Award' in the State of Tamilnadu for the year 2008-2009. We will post pictures of this award soon in our photo gallery.

Our dream project, construction of Alumni Block inside GCT campus is underway. You can have a glimpse of the pictures by going to our alumni website www.gctalumni.org.in , Photo gallery.

Still we have a long way to go. We appeal to our beloved alumni who have not contributed so far to their almamater to kindly wake up and ensure that they are part of the project. The fund position as on date is indicated below. The following batches have blocked guest rooms in the first floor. We appreciate their efforts in mobilizing funds for the cause:

       We are happy to announce that we have started with the construction work of the Alumni Block.. The building plan and elevation can be viewed in the alumni website (www.gctalumni.org.in)

Objective of the effort to build an Alumni centre @ GCT campus

The GCT alumni association is proud in putting up a landmark memorial inside the GCT campus ,as a token of reciprocating gesture to the alma mater. This landmark will be conceived, designed and built to provide

·       a monumental landmark to impress and inspire upon everyone what GCT   ALUMNI can do

·      a memorable gift by every GCT alumni who had passed out from this college

·       a place for every batch of GCTians to reunite ,to cherish the good old days

·        a permanent place for the GCT alumni association to function to realise its vision

·        a proud place for holding lectures and other events

·       a place of opportunity for the current students to be evaluated by prospective  employers

  In this connection it was decided to give opportunity to all our alumni to become a part of this project. Hence a minimum contribution of 2000/- was fixed for one Sq.feet of plinth area (1 unit). The Alumni can decide the number of units (square feet) they would like to contribute. The transfer of money has been made convenient through e-banking with the following details.
